Too hot and it doesn't breathe, December 16, 2009 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: LinenSpa Pillow Protector Zipper Enclosure 100% Waterproof & Dust Mite Protection They claim this pillow cover is breathable, but it only breathes at the zipper. Otherwise, it billows like a balloon up whenever I put my head on it, and then the air slowly seeps out the zipper. And this happens whenever I shift my position. It has a rubberized inner coating to make it waterproof, and that also makes it very hot. I've been waking up with my face and neck soaked in perspiration, and it's been quite cold outside. It isn't all that noisy compared to some waterproof pillow protectors, but cotton with a waterproof treatment is quieter. And it probably is waterproof, but only if you don't mind the heat and the fact that it isn't breathable.

Waterproof material is on the inside and you dont even notice it when you put the pillow case on and sleep on it. Stays cool as well.
